Who We Are
Jay Singh, owner and founder, graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010 with honors; making the mark on the deans list for many-a-consecutive semesters …
Jay would like to give a special thanks to the following professors at U.I.C. (not in any order of course) …
Professor Leonard C. Soffer (now @ the University of Chicago Booth School of Business); Professor Yehia Salama; Professor Michael Popowitz (35 year tenure @ U.I.C. and retired); Professor Ram Ramakrishnan; Professor Abel Galvan and Professor James Gillespie (Management 495; sits on the Board of Directors of firms within an array of industries). An all-star ranking. May God bless them and theirs.
Jay passed his certified public accounting examinations from the Illinois Board of Examiners in January of 2023. Jay launched Fox Valley Account and Tax LLC in January of 2023. Jay has been professionally practicing the art of taxation since 2014. Practicing the art of accounting directing an array of business leaders since 2007 serving in roles as Cost Accountant, Controller, Director of Business Development, Tax Professional, Tax Research Associate, Senior Tax Associate and with God’s grace, Owner & Founder. Whilst sporting all professional types of hats Jay has helped other business owner(s) scale their brick-and-mortar tax locations across the west Chicago suburban region up through Milwaukee, WI i.e. helping tax businesses thrive since 2014 and leading and adapting cutting-edge technical advances to pinpoint accounting and tax concerns before they arise with meticulous attention-to-detail that is hard to come by. A die-hard problem solver.
Jay lives by three principles: (1) there are no short-cuts to life nor profession (2) practice makes perfect and (3) humility prevails.
Jay is a people person. An avid animal and dog lover. An adventurist. Eco-friendly to all things. Jay being born and raised in the greater Chicagoland area is a patriot. God bless The United States of America. The great USA molded Jay to whom he is and that acknowledgement is defended with great honor.
As an early bird Jay says his grandfather’s work ethic and discipline in the way of his candor and demeanor rubbed off on him. Jay lost his father at the young age of 11; a Father whom in Jay’s words was “The greatest pure bred of gentlemen in the witnessing of my own accord I now much later at a point of deep inflection in my life realize the value of Fatherhood”.
As the citizenry we the people pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States of America and to The Republic for which it stands, One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. God bless The United States of America.
Waheguru.
